National Standards For Music Education
All students participate in music class one to two times a week for 30-40 minutes. Students will experience music through listening, moving, speaking, singing, playing instruments, reading, notating,

- Improvising melodies, variations, and accompaniments.

- Evaluating music and music performances.
- Understanding relationships between music, the other arts, and disciplines outside the arts.
- Understanding music in relation to history and culture.
